Send & Receive Fax App- iFax App Reviews

This app is does not work… loaded pdf into app, purchased fax fee through iTunes... followed all instructions and the app hung upon sending. Retry… x5 with the same result and while attempted to was unable to get assistance. There are better and easier fax apps to use.. I would recommend that you pass on this one.

Best fax software I have tried. it is reliable and easy to use

Instead of spending $38 to mail something to PEI, I came home from the post office and tried out ifax. It worked! Cost me $2.29 to send the 5 pages to the government office by the deadline! Yay!

I use it occationally to send PDF documents only within Canada, and I have never had any issues. I just wish the interface had a more modern look and feel.

Tried to send a 9-page fax. Simple, right? Well once I had paid the $3.64 they wanted, the document is in forever “load” mode. Never actually sends. Don’t buy. They offer no support, and have basically taken my money and said "see you later."

Sometimes it gets a bit difficult. Like today I could not paste text in the info space. So I decided to attach a document but I could not drag it. I had to transfer it to my desktop before it worked. Anyhow, things seem to get better and I am sure glad i can send a fax for a reasonnable price from home.

Prepared my fax and payed my $2+ and… nothing. It just says loading. I’ve tried a number of times. Looks like I’m not the only one. Looks like I’ll head to the post office to get the job done right.

Nice simple little program that allows me to create a fax and send directly from my computer. I love the fact that I can use a variety of different documents, and just drag them into the fax list and off it goes. No need to purchase anything other than the fax that I am sending. Clean lines, easy to use.

Works great. Easy to use. Realiable. Only small glitch is comments editor cursor gets a bit wonky when you press enter. Other than that A-1 app.

It’s useful and simple.

The interface is very user-friendly. It allows you to maneuver the documents easily and send it at instant.

Otherwise great app, but a bit glitchy.

I needed to send a fax to a government agency that didn’t accept scan / email. Nobody has a fax machine these days so I decided to download the iFax app to see if I could send a quick fax through my mac. The app downloaded quickly, I was able to log in using my google account and I was able to pay through my Apple ID. Seemed pretty straight forward and the app just sent me a confirmation that the fax went through successfully. Now I don’t have physical confirmation that the recipient received the fax successfully as I just sent it but I’m going to give the app the benefit of any doubts. Solved my problem in less than 5 minutes.

Every time I try to send a fax, the wizard is extremely easy to use and make payment. The problem is the fax won’t go through. Despite numerous attempts, I’m billed but my fax can’t be sent. Delete this app.

Whenever I try to fax I am asked for my apple ID about 6 times, then it says that it didnt work. 85% of the time the transmission fails. I contacted the company but they didnt help at all.

I am pleased with the ease of use and the layout of iFax. I have had no problems with the application and based on my experiences, would recommend iFax.

I have only used it once, but the process was very simple. The fax was sent within Canada. The charge was paid via iTunes. The receiver confirmed receipt, and iFax also emailed me a confirmation that the transmission was successful. The whole process could not have been simpler.

Easy to compile a cover sheet and add files to fax - cost per fax is very reasonable when faxing internationally.
