iFax: Send & Receive Fax App App Reviews

I bought this app and even after I paid for it, it will not work because it says that file is “Unpaid & Unsent”. so I call the app store, and they sugested i remove and reinstall app which I did. problem still persists, and i am not happy of having to track down someone at vendor for support when I have plenty of work to do. Im gonna call and ask for a refund.

This is the best Fax Software I have used. The app is well organized and adding documents is a very simple process. Pricing seems reasonable and in app purchases make paying for the fax simple. It did take 12 minutes to get the confirmation, it is something to consider if you are sending alot of faxes. The confirmation page itself was great. It displays a successully transmitted page like you would see on a normal fax machine. The app keeps a history of all of your sent faxes which you can reference later if need be. Great app for the occasional faxer.

This app used to work great, now it will not send a fax. The app walks you through the process and log into your Apple account to pay, but then comes back and says it was unsent. I sure I hope I don’t have in app purchases for something that’s not working. I even tried uninstalling and no luck.

I found myself needing to send a fax, and this software was easy to use and inexpensive. Filled in the cover sheet and dropped in my document, and minutes later I had a confirmation of success, couldn’t have been easier. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars being, one reason people send a fax, is for a way to send sensitive information using something more secure than email, but my confirmation was an email sent in the clear with the contents of the faxed document.

Without a landline at my home office - it becomes a huge pain when a fax is required. This app is great. Downloaded for free. .99 per fax (not per page) is so much better than trekking to the office supple store to send a fax. I scanned my docs - the fax wizard made it easy to drop and drag the pages.

I have been using this for three years and am very please with it. It has save me time and money.

used to work but now its not gonna let me buy, and apple still charge me at the other end, so gonna ask for the refund and find another fax app until this problem fixed

The app does not work. It tells you that the fax was sent but in fact it isn’t sent. I used it to send two important faxes only to learn days later for one that it was never sent.

I just upgraded the app after having abandoned it previously. In the previous version the address book feature did not work, required manual entry each time. The app froze multiple times and would not send the fax. The support was non-existent. I’m giving it another try with the upgrade, otherwise will return to the competitor’s product.

For an occassional Fax user, this turned out to be the right tools for me. I am using iFax Version 1.10.10 (1.10.17) over Yosemite (OSX rev 10.10.5) Pros: - Clean, clutter free, easy to use user-interface - So far delivered all of my my out faxes on the first try. Not so thrilled: - Bills me $1.99 for a 9 page long Outgoing Fax, could get expensive for frequent user ...

Trying to set up to receive faxes was not easy. The purchase had to continually be restored. Also think it would be great to sent up one time only incomings as easily as the out going using emails as fax numbers…”I” stuff is usually so simple to use, not this app

If you want to send some faxes this is a good, simple and cheap solution. I recommend it

I used to like this app. Used to work great, and prices were great. Ever since the upgrade, though, your fax machine can’t seem to coordinate with iTunes on registering payment, so I can’t ever get my fax sent. So, if you can get your app fixed, I’ll come back to you. Otherwise, unfortunately you’ve lost me. I have to get my faxes out.

App used to be great - it was cheap and worked perfectly. After an update last fall it has never worked the same again. Faxes stay in draft and although the payment is processed, the fax doesn’t send. Developer blames Apple? There have been several updates in 2016 that all same the same thing “fix for payment issue”, but none have worked at all. Maybe some day they will get it fixed, but until then I will have to look elsewhere...

I can confirm the same problem posted by hMans1 below. Seems like the application tries to buy the fax twice and for some reason the whole process fails.

Downlaoded iFax and purchased some credits in app. According to my apple account the purchases went through but the credits never showed up in the app. I think I might be getting taken.

Paid for my fax 3 times but it will not go through. I keep resending but nothing happens. Horrible App. It worked a few months ago but now not sure why it isn’t working. Just drive to Staples and fax. You will waste your time trying to figure it out.

Convenient especially when I have to fax some documents at night time. However, the speed is TOO SLOW! 2 pages took about 15 minutes !! Hope this could be improved in next update.
