Best fax app out there

Love this app. Best fax app out there and I use it all the time.

Lifesaver

We’ve been using this App for years. Our business usually needs to fax about a dozen times a year and iFax makes it easy and almost enjoyable!!! Great Job!! 5stars

All is OK.

Its good , but mut be cheaper.

Just sits and spins

Get credit - just sits and spins Try to send - Says time out Try to get support - NOPE, says you have to pay Total disappointment

Faxed transcripts

Had no problem using this app and it will save me money and frustration. Now I can purchase a printer that just prints, scans, and copies to my computer and fax from there. since I don’t need to fax often, it’s a time and space saver. AND…I had to send 16 pages, all of which my friend received within 5 minutes, fully readable and complete. Thank you so much.

Just as claimed

Quick to download, quick to sign in, easy interface, reasonable rates, I didn’t have to leave my computer desk. Until bank transactions catch up to the 21st century, thank you iFax. Willetta Music Producer

Spam!

Since signing up for this service yesterday I’ve been recieving (disgusting) spam email. Privacy has been violated. Beware.

Garbage… buggy, crashes all the time

I’ve used this app a year or two ago. Just tried it again (whatever the latest version of it is as of 9/26/26) and it keeps crashing. I’ve installed it on another MB Pro and after crashing on that one twice again it finally let me create a fax but then I kept getting a “timeout error”. Wasted good 25 minutes trying to send a 2 page fax. Absolute garbage… I coul’ve ran to a local store to manually fax things - instead I wasted time on this junk. Also, when you try to access developer’s website the same thing happens - their servers have been down for at least an hour. This is NOT a reliable product - stay away.

Used to be an AWESOME app!

Worked fine until your latest upgrade. Now it’s w-o-r-t-h-l-e-s-s. Please fix it.

Cujo

How about confirmation that a fax was delivered / recieved ??? This would be like an outstanding cup of coffee...

the idea is good, the speed is slow and it is a bit pricey

Hi: the new iFax version is much improved, cost is low and it is very easy to use. I definitively recommend it.

Easy to use, works great

Just what I was looking for. I only send a few fax a year so this is just what I was looking for. Easier and cheaper/fax than another Fax app I had prior to this one.

after years of hating fax..

Years ago I had a live fax line for my business run out of my home. I ended up buying one of those printer/fax combos early on and then moved and didn’t get a new fax line. Or a land line. So fax became something I avoided or if absolutely no other option, I would go to Kinko’s and fax. Now moved again and am having to fax to government agencies who still see fax as a viable option. I searched and found this app and have been using it with great satisfaction. Simple. Fast. Clean. Easy to set up and use. AND my documents get saved to my Google drive! This works well for me in so many ways! Thanks for a great app!

Nice…eventually

The application and interface is very easy to use. I am an occasional user, I have only sent 6 faxes. My issue is that when you click send, you log into your itunes account to pay. Then it goes back to the application and should send. I have yet to have it actually send it that first time though. I always have to close the application, and relaunch it and go to the activity tab to finally resend and get it to go. I havent ever been charged twice, it is just an annoyance and inconvenience.

5-Star Brilliant! A No Brainer For Any Home or Office!

Update - V2 is much improved and now you can add your very own Fax Number(s). The Number 1 reason that iFax is a No Brainer App to add to my iMac Work station, is simply that I live over 1 hour to the nearest UPS or Office Max store, JUST to Fax documents to agencies that still use a fax. 99 cents and NOT having to drive over an hour, one-way, and not having to buy $25 bucks of gas, is a No Brainer. Plus the convienence of not having to spend half a day going into town and back is absolutely worth it. iFax results speak for themselves, and while not 100% Perfect App, it still get’’s the J-O-B done for me, in Hawaii. First Review on June 2016 follows below - - Recently I upgraded to Mavericks, and thanks Apple for the Freebie, as it has been a really new adventure from Snow Leopard; and made me realize that I was missing some much needed App’s for my biz. One of those needs was having some sort of Fax service capability, since donating my previous fax machine and elimanating my old “land lines”, remember those, people? When I started searching for Apple desktop fax app’s, I didnt find anything rated above 3 stars for Snow, however, I did notice that there was a lot more to gain if I upgraded to Mavericks, and that included a new handful of fax app’s, with iFax an obvious top contender. Pro’s: * Set-up is simple via the App Store. Download to desktop, Install, and Open app. * Send/Receive to the US & Internationally. Few other app’s have this feature. But there is a Caveat to note, see Con’s. * UI dispaly is logical, well-rendered and very easy to access, without a lot of unnecessary bell’s & whistles. * From HOME, click on the NEW FAX Green button opens up the Wizard, which then takes you thru about 4 to 6 steps & options before hitting SEND. * 99 cents to Send up to 5 pages, that is the BEST DEAL EVER! Think of all the Time, Energy, Gas and extra fee’s SAVED from having to go to some Mailbox Center or UPS, stand in line, fill out another form, and have Everyone else see, &/or, hear your Biz! * I can iFax any document, any day, any time, no reservations, 24/7, in my PJ’s. * Caveat - Scanning documents into PDF files may result in a larger File Size than anticipated. I recommend scanning documents to less than 1MB, and saving them as a JPEG file. I have tested both today and saw a huge difference in the Send & Confirmation times, it was very Significant. I did Not read anywhere in the Wizard about what the “PREFERRED FILE SIZES” are, and was sure that sending a 3 or 4 MB file, may crash this app, maybe someone else here has had some experience with that, but, it could also be my location … Hawaii. Con’s: * Other than the document File Sizes * The Incoming (Receive) fax PRICES are pretty Expensive. I’d like to see a better affordable US & Canada Rate prices. Mahalo iFax for creating such a great App! Live Aloha!

DOES NOT WORK

I downloaded the app and get this when I try to use it: iFAX cannot be opened because of a problem. Great update!

Many Years of Satisfaction with iFax!

I have used this app for years and solely rely and depend on iFax for all of my business and personal faxes and without a doubt, am so satisfied that I am not persuaded to look elsewhere for another method of faxing. I have found problems are 99% operator error. Consideration for all angles can solve many issues without jumping to conclusions that the app is the problem. Investigate first. I rely on iFax and love it!

GREAT APP

EZ to use and price is not bad for the convenience with no phone line.

Easy and Affordable

New to a small hill town in Italy, iFax let me send PDF forms right from my laptop!

Great value for convenience

Very nice service. I <hate> dealing with real fax machines so, for as someone who only ever needs to send faxes once in a blue moon, I am more than happy to pay $0.99 for the convenience of this app service - just drag the pdf you want to send, and voila! I also like that payment is done through the app store so I dont have to get my redit card out. This is the iTunes of faxing.
